This design was made for a Dutch garden, the focus of this garden is mediteranean style with new architectural structures. Several moodboards were constructed on materials and planting shemes. then 4 different hand sketches were created.
With the feedback from the client several choices such as a pergola and organical shapes were added to the list of requirements, then these 4 sketches were set up to give the client some different variaties of their proposed ideas combined. The clients favourite sketch was number 3 and there were no further comments or changes to this sketch.
To give a cleare picture of the different heights a 3D model in Sketchup was created!. After discussing further progress in this project with the client the client decided that a rendered 3D model was needed.
After the basis is made in Sketchup the model is introduced into Lumion to Render and make the model realistic. Ultimately the client only wanted a rendered version of the design for the garden. The intention was to use the images and videos for advertising a contractor. This was a learning point for me and I now understand that the intentions of the products must be checked more clearly.
