Backpacking
Going on a holiday means for most people laying on a beach or staying on a campsite/hotel. For two years I have started backpacking. It offers a unique experience every time and you get very close to nature and the local culture. I find it to be fascinating to go into it without a plan, only the location is decided before leaving home.
Photography
Photography is one of my favourite things to do, I am an amateur photographer that especially likes landscape photography and wildlife photography.
Climbing
My dad and I have been climbing for a while and I really enjoy going to a climbing/ boulder centre in the Netherlands to climb. But my absolute favourite is doing klettersteigs or via ferrata's outside.
Horseback riding
I have been horse riding since I have been seven years old, always in a riding school, my family or I have never actually ever owned a horse. But it is a hobby I share together with my parents.
Painting
The love for painting and drawing I have had since I was young, I am not that great at doing so, but I find it very enjoyable every one so often it will go very well, and it just makes my day. I am especially interested in botanic art and landscape art.
Walking
I guess everyone enjoys going for a walk, but I truly love it. Spending time in nature makes me happy and clears my head, best ideas come from just walking and taking in my surroundings.
Plants and gardening
Not everyone will think of having plants or taking care of a garden is a hobby, but it is definitely to me. Taking care of different plants and having and helping in a vegetable garden is one of my favourite things to do when the season is there.
Cooking and baking
I enjoy baking my own bread and making new dishes every week, Gaining new recipes from different cultures is a joy and brings back memories all the time. I find that baking and cooking products from non processed ingredients very important
