This project is based within the city of Arnhem, this concept design for the neighbourhood Deltakwartier is based on green infrastructure with a resilience to the consequences of climate change. More surface vegetation and surface of water are the basic elements for coping with heat stress and heavy rainfall.
This assignment was based on a project from the municipality of Arnhem, and was assigned to get a greater understanding of the effects of climate change on constructing a new built environment.

After the concept design the realisation was made that creating nature in the area without a certain function would be inefficient, the next step was connecting the realisation of new green area's with a theme and after research the decision was to focus more on living combined with leisure. So the change was made to Het Deltakwartier living and recreating near the city
